Penn State Nittany Lions
When it comes to prestige and tradition, there may be no other school with more, then Penn State! Penn State has finished in the top 25 in every NACDA Director's Cup final poll, a feat only matched by nine other institutions: Stanford, UCLA, USC, Florida, Ohio State, Texas, North Carolina, and Michigan.
Making up the campus and the surrounding areas, Happy Valley, as it is called on game day, is where fans come to celebrate their Nittany Lions. The Stadium they call home is known as Beaver Stadium, got its name from the former Governor of Pennsylvania. The largest crowd ever at Beaver Stadium was on September 14, 2002, as 110,753 people watched the Nittany Lions defeat the University of Nebraska by a score of 40-7.
